As a very little girl, I thought I could bring happiness to the world by twirling my dress and blowing kisses. Even at an early age, the desire to please was at the very heart of my being. It has only grown stronger as I get older. Women want to take care of everyone and everything - our children, spouses, parents, siblings, home, garden, career - the list is huge!

If you are a mixture of old and new worlds, of course you want to be everything that your mom was and still have a fulfilling (and these days necessary) career. Since there are only so many hours in one day, this is also close to an impossible task. Harnessing the internet has been a lifesaver for me. There, I have found the world of online shopping, recipe ideas, health and beauty tips, and even homework help (I don't remember 3rd grade ever being that challenging back in the 60s!!)

It has all the best online shopping sites. Christmas was a breeze for me last year as I was able to find those extra special gifts for my loved ones without running to busy stores. Plus, they will giftwrap and mail the presents right to their door. And, if you are like me, and want to make a difference in the world, this site's shopping proceeds goes towards charities for world peace and healing children. What a way to feel good inside!!
